i have an old hp m1264n pc pentium 4 prossecer less than 1 gig of ram, i installed a bigger hd and 3 gigs of ram 3 sticks 1 gig each and replaced the sata cable to hd, then installed xp on the new hd it allways ran crapy. but now it seems worse i can not do anything with it i tried to put back old ram on new hd and nothing happens. set up goes in vary-vary slowley around 3 hr to install xp but after it installes all i get is a blue screen any one have ideas on whats wrong and how to fix it . thanks

Use safe mode selection screen to "cancel auto restart" if after getting bsod the comp reboots,you will then have time to write error messages down & anything else written above message I.e BAD_POOL_HEADER or such like
