have recorded a tv show on my dvd burner

    i have recorded a tv show on my dvd burner and want to edit the show on my computer. is there any programs that allow me to to transfer the tv show from it original format to AVI so i can edit it on my computer?

    There are editors which will work on your Mpeg file, like VideoReDo, Mpeg Video Wizard DVD, TMPGEnc Xpres, name a few.
    They all have features like transitions, fades and so on.
    First two will produce DVD ready to burn. Last one requires DVD authoring software to make DVD.
    All have trial versions.
