    Hey guys,

A friend of mine gave me a disk that he couldn't get to play on his DVD player or PC. When I explored the disk I notice that there were no IFOs or BUPs listed. From that I figured I could use IFOEdit to fix the problem. Here's how the VOBs breaks down:

    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB

    Are my movie files

    VTS_02_1.VOB

Seems to be some type of trailer for the movie (probably part of the extras)

    VTS_03_1.VOB

Seems to be some more extras

    VTS_06_1.VOB

    Behind the scenes... more extras

    VTS_07_1.VOB

    More extras

    VTS_08_1.VOB

    Last of extras

Ok, so this tells me his movie is missing the most important part... the main title screen with the chapters and features indexed (I assume these are VOBs #5 and #6 in the sequence.

Any suggestions on what app(s) could be used to create a title screen and be able to use the original VOBs as is or would I need to go a whole different route to fix this.

    Much thanks in advance.

You could use VOB2MPG to merge each group of VOBs into six mpeg files.
Load the MPEG files into DVD Flick and assign a menu item to each of the six titles.
Set 'Video' > 'Advanced' to 'Copy MPEG-2 files' - to ensure that they don't get encoded (they are compliant files).
You can elect chapters, but they won't align with the scenes like the original chapter times.
