I've tried to convert various DVDrips that I downloaded to *.mp4 format for my 80 GB Video iPod and WHENEVER I convert them, the audio seems to be off. I use Xilisoft, and have even used other programs (i.e. Videora, etc...) but they all give me the same product.

And yes I have checked the DVDrips and they are perfect. The sound is 100% in tune with the lips and what not. I have asked many people for help and have gotten good advice but have not been able to find a solution. Anyone got any ideas?

okay well an update...I downloaded Cucucsoft (and older version that was cracked) and it does seem to work...HOWEVER...it takes a widescreen and makes it full screen...and that seems to distort the picture a little bit...anyone know what part of the settings I need to adjust to keep it as a widescreen? thanks...
