hd-dvd/blu-ray?

    i read somewhere that there is going to be a hd-dvd/blu-ray player which will play both blu-ray and hd, but not for a while? is it true?

    If they do hybrid it than it's going to take forever.

    I seem to remember manufacturers stating that they intended to make hybrids well before the first BD or HD players were released.
