    Please help!
I looked through other forums in afterdawn and didn’t see a solution. If there’s one already posted, please direct me, and sorry for my oversight.
Burned dvd’s with shrink and dvdfab. All are in mpeg format. Burned 16 Blocks onto dvd…THE PROBLEM: plays in Spanish subtitles AND Spanish audio on my pioneer home theatre system, though playing dvd on my home computer and directly off hd file both play in English with no subtitles. Will take the dvd to another computer to see how it plays. I’m far from understanding much of anything with computers, so if you’re so kind to reply PLEASE use simple laymans terms.
    Cheers and thanks in advance!

Is your home theatre systems DVD player set up right way?
You can always switch streams (audio, subtitles) with your remount control for DVD player, but I would suspect your system is not English without subtitles or default. You will have to read manual for your home theatre system DVD player set up.
DVD looks it is fine, because all is there.

dvd player is good. all standard dvd's have no problem. i've read and reread in a couple forums about dvd's not playing and how to fix it with more encoding etc. perhaps that's the problem?

examples only when playing files burned to dvd-r on dvd player:

stepford wives: files play english, english, french, english **BUT** the french file plays in english from the computer when playing the disc (not the file).

mona lisa smile: french, english, french, french

hamlet: english, english, english, english, english....SO NO PROBLEM HERE.

files are burned to disc with nero (6?)with file type dvd-video files (.vob; .ifo; .bup)

thanks for any and all help.
