Hello, I have alot of movies on my computer, avi. and others etc. I am tired of watching them on my computer screen, is their a way to move those HD movies to a DVD?

I have a dvd burner which is DVD+R but I am searching on how I do this, moving HD movies to a Dvd file.

If anyone can give a site that tells how or what I need to do in order of steps to be able to do it. Thank You, Need help!

    you will need 2 things.
    1) a encoder such as tmpgenc(which will encode avi and other formats) which will convert other formats to dvd format. The encoder that you will need will depend upon the types of files that you have.

    2) You will need a dvd burning program. Nero and recordnow are very good, but any number of programs will do the job.

go to the guides at afterdawn as a beginning.
