Hi I'm searching a HD MPEG2 Encoder up to 80 Mbps (maybe less but more than 15 Mbps). Not a real time, I want the better quality. Price is not an issues Thanks
Well Most Good Mpeg encoders Can Create HD Mpeg-2 files Like "Tmpgenc Pluss"... The thing about encodeing to HD Resolutions and Bitrates is that the Level and Profile are different than the Standard Profile and Level of Mpeg-2 files for DVD so if you want to encode to HD Mpeg-2 format you Must set the "Profile & Level" settings to "Main Profile@High Level" and then you will be able to set the Resolution to 1024x768 or higher and set the encodeing Bitrate up to and over 80mb per sec... So you can get away with useing something like Tmpgenc Pluss which is a Very Good encoder to encode to and From HD Resolutions and Bitrates but remember to change the Level and Profile settings....
