I've posted several times before, and the people who have tried to help, still haven't full understood my problem I get error code 5 when i boot. I need to know, is there anyway to find the HDkey to lock the hard drive WITHOUT the eeprom?? yeah, its on the hd, but i cant get to it...unless i could ftp to my box, which i cant, since it wont boot. programs on the computer can never find my xbox hd (like fatxplorer and such).....what do i do? will slayers boot disc let me boot to the disc before the xbox tries to boot the hard drive?
Nope slayers wont boot your HD is unlocked unless you have an eeprom reader you need to get a modchip.... if the xbox and microsoft logo appear you can hotswap and it should be on your HD...
