HD to VHS

    Is it possible to copy video files from a hard drive to VHS

    I believe it is possible if you have a video out on your video card and maybe an rf-modulator. All you do is connect the video out of the video card to the video in of the modulator. If you want sound (which you probably do) you will need a RCA to speaker jack from your computer. Connect the RCA end of the speaker cable to the two red and white in on your RF-Modulator. Then connect the "to tv" coxal cable to the "from antenna" in on your vcr. Then set your video card to make the TV your primary display and monitor your secondary. When you are ready, play the video full screan and hit record on your VCR. I agree that it is kinda complex, and theres probably an easier way, but I was never too bright. PS. Ive done this before.......it worked.

    I have achieved good quality VHS by making a SVCD from the material first, then recording from DVD player to VCR. Dig?
