I want to purchase another HDD, my current drives are almost maxed out.

A 2Tb seems to be more than enough in my view, but what do i do with my two current drives?

Should i use them for RAID and install my operating system?

Should I clean them off and sell them?

Should I just purchase an SSD and clear out one of them and use it for storage?

    Your thoughts please?

don't think you can use them in raid mode as think they have to be same capacity size & they are not. can go with ssd for boot drive & use both hard drives for storage.

I suppose you are right, would be a waste to buy 2Tb right now. Though tempting lol
