HDD and modchip problems

    I'm trying to put a new HDD (Seagate 200GB) in by booting from a disc (AID 4.12). The Xbox boots the disc fine when the original drive is used but I get the "xecuter2 Config Live Loading" screen and if flashes red and green if I connect the new drive and does nothing.

    Should I try a different BIOS?

    I have a 1.0 Xbox and xecuter 2.6CE chip. The hard drive is spinning and works fine in my computer.

    It was the hard drive. I tried another hard drive and everything went smooth.
