Does anyone know if there is anything out there that would enable you to connect an hdmi input to your pc? Ive looked around and cant seem to find an answer ...or anything more recent than 2 years ago. Thanks for your help:)

Yes, there are cards that will let you input HDMI, or even HDMI with HDCP (most HDMI signals have the HDCP). However, the cards that are capable of HDCP have been made illigal by the DMCA. The cards without DMCA are virtualy useless, and are therefore extremely expensive since they are only usefull to a limited group of professionals.

If you live in a country where the government is not run by evil corporations (and therefore the DMCA is not active), then you might be able to get one of the HDCP cards from a grey market distributor...but I shouldn't say anymore here as this site is hosted from a Fascist country that loves the DMCA.
