hello, im relatively new to these boards, so i was just wondering if you guys could help me out with a question. im looking at buying a refurbished 65" mitsubishi diamond series hdtv for 2200$ does the fact that im buying a refurbished tv mean it will void the warranty? and also do you think im doing the right thing. any advice is welcome, thanks.
It depends totally on the company, I bought my refurbished universal VCRs in last year and they gave 6months warranty for the parts and labour and offered an option to purchase an additional 6months for appx $50 or so (but as I moved from U.S. to Europe, I really couldn't use the extra warranty anyway, sending stuff overseas for fixing is too expensive). So, simply contact the company who's selling it and ask about the warranty and demand to have it in written if they give you one.
