Hey, I'm new here and I just thought I'd say hello to eveyone. Hope you all are well.

I have a question that may be well out of place but I thought I'd ask it anyway in the hope that somone can help me out. When using Internet Explorer, is there any way to change the default folder it uses for saving downloaded files? At the moment its set to My Documents and I don't know how to change it. Its a small thing I know but it would really help my sanity.

Anyway, nice to be here, thanks for your time.
    Later
    RG

You need to edit the registry. Go to the key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
and change the Download Directory string to the path you want it to be

learn regedit well...it's like every tweaker you ever wanted, and then some. ResHack is a good freeware tweaker too if you don't have it yet.
