I have a wd caviar green 1tb hdd and a seagate 80gb hdd. The 80gb is my main drive with windows on it and it is connected to my motherboard through the ide port. The second 1tb drive is connect via sata through the pci raid controller card. I have installed the card but have not set u p any raid because I dont want to use it. But for some reason it is mirroring the 80gb main drive's recycle bin onto the 1tb drive. Also it is mirroring another folder named system volume information. Why is this happening?

Dont think you have anything to worry about, having a folder called RECYLCER on all drives is normal. see here. Also the system volume information is probably tied up to your OS system restore, you can choose wether to monitor this drive or not in your operating systems restore settings, it may also have info for your drive partition.

Both are normal, you are not using any type of R.A.I.D. array, do not attempt to delete even if you could, just turn off show hidden files and folders, and protected OS folders in folder options for normal good practice.
