hello, i am after a programme that i can use to rip my cd's to mp3's and then burn them back to a cdr in mp3 format for my car.

i have bee using nero but it puts a slight pause in between the tracks when ripped to mp3 and playing back seamless music that crosses multiple tracks is a bit annoying when you have a click in between songs. is there a program that will rip to mp3 without the 0.02sec blank spot?

A gap is normal with mp3's. I don't think you can do away with it without mixing all the songs in one track and then burning the large track. Maybe others have more to add.

my car stereo won't playback songs that are 30+min in length, i tried that with albumwrap, and putting several cd's onto 1 disc is so much more convenient for the car + i'm not scratching my originals.

The gap is likely in the playback device. WinAmp plays MP3s without a gap, my Kenwood car stereo doesn't. My wife's Blaupunkt, however, does play without a gap. As to a ripper, CDEx is a really good and free one. I've been using it for years.
