Here is my situation: I have a single VOB file(2.7 GB) that i converted from a WMV file i recorded with my camera. I burned it with Nero but it wouldn't play on my dvd player or pc(Nero warned me it might not play), my guess is because i have no IFO or BUP files to go with it. I tried using DVD Shrink but it would not open the folder. The software i used to convert the WMV file said i had to split the VOB file if it was larger than 1GB in order to burn it with Nero successfully. I did this and it still did not work. I know i can split the WMV file and make an SVCD on two seperate cds but i want to keep it all on one dvd. I am at my boiling point. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Load the VOB into this program. http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB) Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD. Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv) Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America) Burn the output folder with nero or IMG Burn. http://www.imgburn.com/ Run ImgBurn Mode > 'Build' Output > 'Device' File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK' Click the green write button.
It left a mark but it did work really well and if there is no other way to do it than I'll just buy it.
Sorry about that, that was my mistake i searched the program on google and got from some random site. I give your link a try.
