help burning images but cd's come out unreadable

    i'm burning ccd and nero images but my cds comes out blank or not readable.
    i used nero and alcohol and clone cd but nothing does the job.
    my image drives or vertual drives do not recognise or wont eccept some of my images.
    i'm going crazy.
    what to do?
    (all the images were download from the net)

    My only guess is that the image might be corrupt (it happens, with files downloaded from the net). I would suggest you to use CDMage, load the image then do a 'scan for corruption'.
    This is the best suggestion that I'm able to give you, so far.
    Do that, then write again here reporting the results.

    Are you using CloneCD to burn the .ccd files?
    Are you using Nero to burn the Nero img files?
    Don't forget to remove CloneCD's "autostart" from system tray. I believe by default after you install the icon is orange in system tray and "hide cd-r" is enabled. Exit that and play those backups in your burner and see what happens. Also disable Alcohol 120%(virtual stealth drive) and Daemon Tools running in system tray (if applicable).

    Kazaa? (or a similarly unreliable medium) -- they could be fake (i.e., blank images)
