well i'm new to this, i read almost
everything and i can't find a way to change the resolution
ok i used TMPGEnc Plus to convert the avi (DIVx/Xvid etc..) to mpeg but when i try to burn them with TMPEGnc DVD Author i get errors that says....
1- The Video Resolution 576x276 can not be used for a standard DVD
2- The video framerate 23.976 fps cannot be used for standard DVD
3- A video sequence header is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD

ok so now i went to NERO to try to burn and i get this error message....
DVD-Video file compliance test failed, the resulting DVD-video might be unplayable.

so i still burned it to a dvd disk and it's not playable at all.
can someone please help me or guide me in the right direction so i can fix these problems ?
    thanks

Use the wizard in tmpgenc plus in dvd mode it will set the needed resolution and framerate and fix that last thing too

then pop into TDA and burn in Nero

The resolution used is seriously wrong for DVD! 720x576 or 352x240/352x288 can be used! Most others are not compatible. 23.97fps is also not compatible. This is why whenever i encoded to SVCD is used a framesize of 352x288 so I could easy rip the mpgs off the svcd and burn as DVD when I got my burner!

I recomend for avi to dvd, you read the following guide - http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread...66ecc5950ec&threadid=61142&highlight=DVD2SVCD
