I went into Bestbuy to purchase one of the Cyberhome multiregion DVD players they were selling. However they do not have any left. The sales assistant said it was replaced with the "RCA Progressive-Scan DVD Player - Model: DRC200N". What he could not tell me was weather it was multiregion or not. Does anyone have any info on this player, is it multiregion and if not can anyone reccommend a player under 70$ that is multiregion.
I would suggest the Phillips 642 from Circuit City I bought my 3rd one for $49.99 a couple weeks ago, I believe still same price. PRO'S The Cool thing about this player it does all files AVI, DIVX4, WMA, all DVD formats, I have yet to find an AVI file or scratched DVD it won't play. (I believe their is a code you punch in to remote to convert to all regions haven't done it yet, I have No reason to...It might even be in DVD guide.) CON'S Lousy Remote...Not all controls on front of player, so remote is required. Worth it for the all format fuction!!!
