I have an XPS R450 with a processor upgrade to 550 MHz BIOS A09. I have a backup of the system from when the BIOS was A13. Everytime I try to start the system, it freezes when loading in normal mode (the blue bar just stops with no HD activity) but it loads fine in safe mode. Any way I can fix this?

if you have the windows disc at hand
run the disc in bootup by pressing f8,f11, etc
or whatever you have to press to select what to
    boot from
    1.insert windows disc
    2.select the drive its in
3.select repair windows and do one of two things or both:
select repair windows or fix mbr
(please note! if you select to fix mbr through
the console on the windows disc you need know
    what the administrator password is
without this through the console you cant access your pc)
