I am new to DVD burning. I used dvd shrink (i think properly) and saved the movie to my harddrive. I have nero and tried to use that to burn it to a dvd-r and it gives me an error message. I am burning at 4x and below is a copy of the error log. I have been fiddling for about 2 days and I think I have ruined about 10 or 20 dvd-r's trying it. I hope someone can help me. Hi there, I'm no expert but here goes: Recorder: <SONY DVD RW DRU-720A> Version: JY02 You have firmware JY02, and JY03 has been released: http://sony.storagesupport.com/dvdrw/firmware.htm#720 Firmware Upgrade JY03 (Date: 4/19/05) DRU-720A | DRX-720UL Improvements: Writing performance and reliability improvements. It seems to have recognised the media which is a good thing... Does your burner support 2x ? Try 2x and see if it makes a difference. 4x maybe a little fast, since you are using lots of memory ! Also, Lots of people are having burning issued with InCD installed/running. Try without InCD ! DMA is ON on all devices, that's what we want !
