To stop any confusion I live in the UK to stop people reading this and thinking what are you on about!!

Anyway, I'm in a situation at the moment where (due to family problems) I have to live in a rented house for 3 months. But I need to get a ISP thats not expensive (£15 or under) and don't hold me to a contract for 12 months.

I've had a look around and AOL's Silver Plan seems to be perfect. But, I know they use there own software and having 2 computers need a modem that I can plug into my router (will have to buy one as thats how I don't get a 12 month contract)and I still want to use Firefox.

Can this be done as AOL say I need a AOL supported modem and I don't have a clue about using Firefox. After moving out of this rented house I'm planning on moving back to Cable (Blueyonder).

Try Eclipse they don't hold you to a 12month contract (unless you want a modem)Not sure on the prices now as they have changed them since I started with them, never had any trouble in nearly 12months.

Had a quick look and look good but what about the usage allowance for Option 1? Should I should be OK if I lay off the Music and YouTube??

Mmm seems they have changed their pricing since I joined, doesn't seem as attractive as some other offers availlable.

I might go with Virgin (and pay the £50 fee to cancel it when I need to). I still need to get a modem because the one provided will have a USB connection. Has anyone had any expierence with this ISP?
