Hey, I'm new to burning dvds and converting and all that stuff so sorry if im completely clueless anyway so I want to convert this 350mb xvid file to dvd with avi2dvd. I wanted to use cce but the quality that i got wasnt very good. So now im using HCEnc which i heard was the next best thing (does anyone know the best encoder that comes free with AVI2DVD?) Anyway so i converted the videos (its a series of videos and I want to fit three [350mb each] xvid files into a dvd) and when i did I got a huge 2gig file per xvid file so thats around 6 gigs which is more than the data i can fit on a 4gig dvd... But when i looked in the VIdeo_TS folder I found more than one video file... It split the video in to parts! I cant have two parts because I made menus with DVD Architect and I dont know what to do with more than one file... Im so confused could anyone help me? Also why is the file so big? Is it possible to make a smaller file with almost perfect quality? I wanted to make the files around 1 gig per file... Like commercial TV Series DVDs, each episode is around 1 gig and a bit. How do I make it that size and only one file per episode? help!! Sorry for the many questions Im just so confused!!
