Have XP Home SP2 Nero 7 Essentials. I am trying to create a DVD, by adding in photo (JPEG's) and my saved DVD movies from my camcorder. Seems all I can add are the movies. I have tried the "Make a DVD" & the DVD Recode. So - How does one combine both photos & moives onto a DVD- preferably in an orderly fashion (meaning by when the event was recorded) so that it all flows nicely when I put the finished product in my DVD player.
Hi there, you need NeroVision to combine both the pics and movies onto a dvd. And to get them in a prefered orderly fashion, the trick is to create different 'named event' picture folders on your hard drive and load each folder individually onto nerovision. you can also download a user guide from here
You're welcome not sure what your question is but you can download a detailed user guide for nerovision by clicking here
Well wonderful- Your screen shots don't match my Nero 4. starting w/#2 And slide show would be on a CD (even though I am in make a DVD). I don't see "Edit Movie" either.
The layout of my 'nero 7 ultra edition' is different to your limited 'Nero 7 Essentials' but the idea is pretty much the same.
On your "Step 2" I have no DVD option, Hmmm wonder why? And thus I also do not seem the same screen that shows Make a Slide Show AND Add Video Files on the same screen. Any way that is why I was asking where in the manual you found these screen shots- as I had no luck.
OK I figured it out. Wow what trial and error. 90% done the first time, hit wrong button and lost it all. Now I have a completed "video" BUT Nero not burning to the DVD burner!

One question - In the Nero - I have 2 burner options: Sony DVD RW (but my PC is CD RW /DVD player & a is a Toshiba) Image Recorder - could that be my Sony VRD MC3 DVD (standalone recorder)?
Hi, I was just going to reply your other message but glad to hear you've figured it out. In any case, this website here shows the comparisons between Nero 7 Premium/ultra and Nero 7 Essentials, which will explain why the sceenshots are different. As for your nero burn options, choose Sony DVD RW - if nero says that's what you have, that's what it sees.
