Any dvd (i.e. both burned and orginals) that I put into my dvd-rw player freezes after 10 to 15 minutes. The player sounds like it's trying to process something, so it keeps making this subtle clicking sound. I can't seem to play the DVDs after that unless i take out the dvd and push it back in. The odd thing is that any CD and CD-R/RW plays properly. I can't even burn my dvd's properly.

    DVD-RW model: Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R6012 (it's for my Fujitsu N-series notebook)

I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, yet it failed to solve the problem. A solution to this problem will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Lance

    How old is the drive?
Your description (subtle clicking noise)sounds like the laser.

    Cheers

    Hi,
I'm not to sure, it's not that old and it could be a different problem.
I suppose you've only really got two choices available, either get someone to look at it who's in the know or buy a new drive.
I would just buy a new drive myself.

Sorry i could'nt be of more help to you
    Good luck!
