Yes thats right, i will credit the person that gives me best tips/guides $7 to their paypal account. I recently purchased a DVD Burner. Now i have 300 DVD that needed to be copied. Some are movies/music videos. Some have 2 - 3 movies in it, some just have 1 movie, some have 50 music videos. Some i dont need menus, and some i do need menus. All need to be on one CD and compressed to under 4.7GB to fit on the DVD-R. I know how to backup DVD that have one movie. I use DVD Shrink to take out the menus/extras. Use NERO and burn it. This takes out all menus & extras which i dont need. So when you play the DVD-R on a dvd player it just shows the movie. Here my problem. I have some DVD that need to be backed up that have 2 or more movies and some that have over 50 music videos in them. I have to have the menu in them. They are all over 4.7GB and ned to be decompressed. I want to keep as much quality as possible. When i use DVD Shrink to backup the DVD and burn it to a DVD-R, the menus dont work on the dvd player. It shows up but it just plays it. I cant click or choose anything which is useless. I need to know how to decompress everything and yet still have menus and fit it on 1 single DVD-R. Dont want to loose quality. How can this be done? It seems everytime i try the menus dont work. Ive used a couple of proggies same drill, the menus dont work. I need the best method done with full guide/instruction. Like i mentioned i will credit the person who gives me the best results $7 to their paypal account. If you want to directly contact me than send me a email at sales@safekicks.com Why not get paid for something you would normally do for free anyways? Thanks
Hey, No need for $7 here, but maybe I can help (How did you come up with the nice round figure of $7 anyway?). It sounds to me like you are using the reauthor mode of DVDShrink even when you want to keep the menues -> which won't work. If you want to keep menues on your backup, just open the disk in DVD Shrink and use the base window to set everything up the way you want it (don't select reauthor). As for quality, make sure that you use "Deep Analysis", but beyond that you may find yourself having to accept some quality loss if you are backing up full DVD9s to DVD5s without removing any content. You can choose to increase the compression on some parts that are less important (and compress parts that you can get rid of totally to still frames) and lower the compression on others, but that's about it. Hope that this helps, and saves you 7 bucks!
thanks for your help the $7.00 is a new idea but my dvd is in the red area and dvd shrink isnt compressing it there nothing for me to compress everything is allready automatic. i dont know how im gonna compress it to fit 4.7GB. its a big movie and i dont want to use 2 dvd-r
InterVideo's DVD Copy Platinum DVD X Copy CloneDVD Elby's CloneDVD All of the above software support D9 to D5 copy. But you know in order to fit dual-layer content into 4.36GB, you have to sacrifice the quality a bit. So far, DVD Copy Platinum is better than others. Save your $7 for purchasing a legitimate copy of one of the above software.
i get the concept, but another prob the dvd i need to backup is a music video it has like 30 music video in it if i split it the first cd is gonna have menu and second cd isnt, the menu are gonna be totaly messed up so its gonna be insane, the menu link to the music video, if i split the music video to another disk the menu wont function properly so whats there to do?
