Hi, dvd xcopy should be all you need to make a backup copy of a dvd and play it in a stand alone dvd player. Is that what you are trying to do? And another proggy for backing up dvd's is dvd shrink ( I think 3.1) works very well if you want to keep the menu's and all on 1 dvd, it compresses the dvd a little but I havent noticed any quality loss. Let me no if I can help you with dvd x copy.

Oh ya, Dvd Shrink 3.1 is shareware and free for you to download.
