    Hi.

I'm editing video with Final Cut Express.
Another member of my team is editing on PCs with Adobe Premiere.
When he exports his segment as a PAL .avi file, and I import it into Final Cut, the video and audio are out of sync!!!
It plays in sync (though stretched vertically) in Quicktime.
How can we combine our projects???

    Thanks

Why are you using 2 different programs?

F.C.E. may not be reading the A.P. AVI header properly... which might cause incorrect Frame playback speed.

I realize you probably have a very good reason for processing each separately, but it would be in your best interest to process them in the same software. I'm not experienced with F.C.E, but i've used Premiere...and I would trust that it could make proper files. Have you tried either of their product forums for answers?
