any suggestions. I'm trying to upgrade my softmod V1.6b to a 160GB HD. I used xboxhdm, only made my cd-r/w with -c not -e, -e made the file too large for a CD. I had to use a different computer than this one that I'm typing on because I would get an error on step 1. I then tried it on my other computer and it worked all the way up to the frozen disk problem when trying to lock the HD. I then did the little trick with unplugging it at the bios boot and it worked, my HD locked. But when I put the HD in the Xbox and turned it on I got the Green CALL SERVICE screen with a number 13 in the upper left corner.
hate to say it 2 options for you one is to hot swap witch does not always work or 2 you can call "18004myxbox" and they will repair your xbox for free but it will take 1 month by the way error 13 is the hardest error to fix you should just call 18004myxbox
