    Hi all.

I'm a newbie, absolutely love this sight, great community!!

I've been reading most of the guides here, but have recently downloaded the Transformers HDDVD X264 release. I converted it to m2ts to play in my PS3, all I get is the sound, but no picture??

I thought i'd done everything correctly, but obviously not!

I've searched through most guides and query's, but have not found the answer i'm after?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Unfortunately I am in the same boat as you here. I have an MKV I converted to a m2ts file with tsMuxer and get the same result - nice sound, but no picture at all. I read somewhere you need to rename it to .m2t (rather than m2ts, just delete the "s" from the file extension), so I did that. Not working.

Can anyone assist with this? Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply dmoney94.

I guess my question further to your recommendation is... why didn't the .m2ts conversion via TSMUXER not work? As the HDDVD rip is converted to the MKV package, so I assumed the codec's changed too to h264 right?

The source file was h264, unfortunately whomever recoded the HDDVD most likely did not have BD/m2ts playback for the PS3/standalone in mind, probably for the PC only. Your only solution is to recode the mkv, for the best results you should recode using MeGUI/AviSynth, or mkv2vob should do the trick... not sure though, I have never used this program.

Go here for some tips using MeGUI.
