I have a simulation game that I play and It has an editor inside the game. So I added some stuff to it, and now when I click on what I added, I get a runtime error. So I cant click on it to delete it, cuz the game just shuts off. I know where the data is located for it, But I dont know what program I need to open a .dat file so I can look around in it and delete it that way instead. Please Help.
well, you can open em with "notepad" but i wouldnt recommend it, unless you actually know what you're looking for.
