Ok the first thing i did on my dvd was use dvd decrypter and then i burned it using nero. That dvd worked in my cd player and also worked in my computer. Now the second dvd i tried it was the same setup 1 layer and under 4.5 gigs i did this the exact same way i did the first one but this time the movie will only play on my computer and not my dvd. Can anyone give me some tips? Also is tehre a way to use teh trial version of dvd2one version 4 to rip the full movie and not just movie mode?

Hi, I'm a little confused with your post. What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to back up a DVD movie?

Yes I am trying to backup a movie. I stuck the first backup i made into my dvd standalone player it worked. I then tried to backup a different dvd. When that dvd got done burning after i ripped and everything i tried to put the backup in my standalone dvd player but it did not work.

that is very strange. You did everything the second time exactly the same as the first? You are using the same media as well (like dvd-r or dvd+r)? If you did everything the same, I don't know why you are having problems. Maybe it was just a bad burn; sometimes that happens. Try it again and see if it works this time. Or try backing up a different movie.

    Hi Brandon,
Maybe you didn't do everything the same on the second burn. I'll make a guess! If you are using Nero 6 Burning ROM, make sure you are in the DVD-Video mode. Nero defaults to just about all your previous burn settings but not the mode setting on the left of the New Compilation screen. I have done the same thing. Now when you drag your files over to the VIDEO_TS folder, they will appear in the left middle screen; there should be a small musical note icon to the left of each file. Im not sure exactly what that means, but if they are not there, the burn will fail.
Like I said, Just a guess!
    Good luck,
    Frank
