hey i accidentally deleted the ms dashboard and my evox too it still loads games and even my live cd of xbox damn small linux. what can i do to still reinstall my ms dashboard and i want to install xbmc too. right now it gives me error 21. anyone have any ideas? do i need to use slayers or autoinstaller deluxe or what?
i dont know what my ip is and i cant re mod my system cuz i dont have the linux file anymore on my hdd . and ftp what?
i did somthing almost the same, instead of deleting, the dash i pressed the backup button in evox and then the power went out, now when i turn on my box i get the error 21 message. do you know if slayers or aid will work on a softmod or am i gonna have to chip or hotswap?? any help please and thanks.
trust me dont use slayer if u dont have a mod-chip... Use aid... But first try to uninstall the soft mods then reinstall them... if not both then u need to hot swap to fix error 21
ok guys, i really need help with this... i jus recently modded my xbox and everything went great... i can mod halo on live and everything, but that's not the issue here... my friend asked me to mod his and that's when it went wrong... i modded his and at first it was fine but than i needed to burn halo and didnt have space so i started deleting things to make run and what do you kno, i deleted his ms dash as well as evox... now when i turn on the box it just stays at the screen with the green xbox logo and doesn't do ne thing at all ultimately leading to the fact that i can not ftp bacause the dash doesn't load... if i put in a game i have to power cycle the box in order for it to load... so basically this box is crap and my friend is on the verge of making me buy him a new one, and i don't have the money to do so... so, can anyone help me with this, any and all comments would be greatly appreciated... please, please, someone help me with this... what do i have to do, or is there even anything i can do instead of just buying him a new one and starting all over...
the good thing is, is that you can still boot games, so what you can do is, take a dashboard with evox or whatever, preferably evox, use craxtion to create a dvd with evox on it. if you use craxtion you can put the evox on dvd to boot from the xbox and then you can use ftp, and grab his backup folder with the hdd eeprom and everything you need, then use xboxhdm to re format his current drive and get rid of errors or restore to normal.
Can some one help me? one of my friends modded my xbox worked good. then the hard drive went bad. i tried to install the new slayer 2.7 on a new hard drive. i had the disk boot at one point but now all i get is japiness writing and a red flashing lite. nothing will boot.
Listen. I Modded my xbox, softmodded, and somehow i deleted my MS Dash without knowing it and i need to get it back. I still have the linux files and can FTP to my Xbox but i cant find the regular MS Dash so that way i can get on live. I want to get on live on Halo 2 but the only thing that happens is it takes me to the " Press start to continue" screen. Where can I find my old MS Dash so I can start playing on live again? I miss all of my friends And is there anything that I can do so I wont have to buy a whole new Xbox console? Help Would Greatly Be Appreciated.
