ok check this out guys and gals anyone can help?

i've just built a new system here's the spec

    gigabyte i-dna board
    1gig drr2 677mhz memory
    pentium d 2.66 dual cpu
    asus 6200 256mb video card

i did booted up and installed all drivers on xp pro
did an update with microsoft blah blah blah .......

so every few minutes or when i open programmes the screen goes black then comes back on ?

to trouble shoot i have done the following ...

tried various hard drives sata and ide with fresh installs of xp pro
virus tested to the max !

when i disabled my video card it STOPPED !!

when i tried to install my video card again !!!! it came back as soon as the drivers had installed

i presumed it was the card conflicting so i took it back and bought a xfx 7200ie card which i have just installed and low and behold as soon as i installed the drivers

    BLACK SCREEN FLASHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did get an error message from microsoft and when i sent the error msg it said it was my drivers for my video card ......but how can two seperate different makes of card have the same effect???

    ANYONE !!!!!!!!!!!

thanks in advance and before you ask

YES i have searched and YES i have helped a lot of people on this forum so help me out PLEASE ............
