help in connecting ps3 to amp

    Hello,
    I have bought a sony bravia dav-dz370 today and i don't know how to connect my ps3 to it...i have connected the sony bravia via HDMI to my LCD and i connect my PS3 also through HDMI to my LCD but when i start my ps3 i can't play 5.1. and also in the audio setting in the ps3 i choose HDMI and it does not detect 5.1...
    plz help me on how to connect it to my ps3???

    Your question is a little confusing, but I think I know what you are trying to do.
    Just connect the hdmi cable to your tv and then go into your ps3 menu and change the audio to output over hdmi.
    You will not get 5.1 through a tv, you need a seperate reviever for this.

    You could have 5.1 if your receiver has an optical input.
