This is pissing me off. When I run the vobsub installer and select the virtualdub plugin, it asks to where the virtualdub directory is. I cannot get it to recognize virtualdub, it keeps saying that is not a valid path and the installer freezes up. I have tried extracting (there no installer for virtualdub right?) virtualdub in different directories and it won't work. it must be something stupid that I'm not doing??
    thanks for any help..

just direct it to the folder where you put virtualdub.

or you can skip the installer part. and get the file from the the vobsub folder (after installing) copy a .vdf file and paste it in the folder named plugin in the virtual dub folder.

usually i don't use vobsub. cause it uses the pictures directly from the dvd, and that produces ugly fonts. i use subtitler filter. use subripper to rip it. the only drawback there is a chance subripper may misinterpret the characters. but i take the chance and i do check em.
