Hope I am in the correct forum...I have been trying to download videoraipodconvter and run bearshare and I havent been sucessful...When I try to download the converter..it downloads ok but when I go to install it in my computer. It says Download of system components failed. Possible reasons include: 1.I cancelled installation (which I didnt) 2. I dont have a internet connection,(which I am sure I have) or 3. server connection timed out. try running again. and the bearshare program does install but when searching for files it says Queryed connection stabalizing And it gives me the message the I have not been able to sucessfully connecto to the gnutella network.......I do recall trying to install limewire on this particular PC and it mentioned to check internet proxy settings......What should the settings be and how do I go about verifying the settings.....P.S. My laptop installed and worked with these programs fine.....Help!!!!!!""
No one here is going to help you pirate software. try purchasing the software then when you have problems, We can help you fix them. This website does not condone piracy! Alternitively you could try try using bittorrent instead of those outdated p2p networks. (That like to install adware and such on your computer.) http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/guide_to_azureus_page_2.cfm#1 BitTorrent is not like P2P networks such as eD2K or FastTrack, you cannot make a search for files using a BitTorrent client. Instead you go to websites that list Torrent files. These torrent files, have information on the files you want to download and also information on the tracker you must connect to to begin downloading and sharing those files. The tracker is like the central server, that keeps information on each user currently currently sharing the files, and what part of the files they have. Once you download a Torrent files, your BitTorrent client (eg. Bit Torrent, Bit Tornado, Azureus etc.) should launch immediately and connect to the tracker. The tracker then connects you to Seeds and Peers who are sharing the file and your download should start. Once you have at least one bit of the file, you will start uploading that bit to other users who don't yet have it. So there we see how BitTorrent is different from other P2P networks, all it needs is the torrent file for the files (or folders) that you wish to download and share and then it does the sharing work for you.
