my xbox is displaying that i have an error 5, and ive done my research on this and know that it is telling me that my hd is unlocked and needs locking,i purposly unlocked it following instructions on a thread on this trying to fix my friends xbox.my xbox is softmodded an has the original retail hd in it. is there anyway to fix this or shall i call it a day
Did you back up your eprom? if not time to hotswap or chip it. I don't hot swap myself, too risky for me.
