Help me please my screen size is weird

Hello everyone and Merry christmas.

My laptop crashed on me last night due to the sasser virus and when i formatted it must have done something to my screen size as once everything was complete(fresh install of windows) the screen size was set 1024*768 and it was OK but as soon as i rebooted the bios screen it only half the size of the actual monitor so i have to struggle to see it and it also goes like this when i play games or anything that runs seperate from windows.

Please can you help me.

from the front panel of the display you can regulate picture for the larger. are you tried ?

 

What front panel there isnt one it is a laptop.

Or do you mean the flip at the front what has screws in it so you cant tamper with whats inside?

 

isn´t there be anywhere adjustments to the picture?

 

No there isnt any way of adjusting it unless you're on windows but that is already set to the maximum and when i set it to the lowest available the screen goes the same size as the bios and games.

 

are you installed all drivers?

 

yeah i have used the ones from the support website especially for my laptop the one where i put my serial number it gives me them all.
