When u create a nee thread how to show picturees like if i wanted to show = start, 'my computer'and show that page how do people do that? Please help me ty

hit the print screen/sysrq button and then open MS word, add your image then get it hosted, try using image shack or photo bucket. use this (its at the top of every page and your set [quote*]Text here[/quote*] -- This text will show as quoted. but take out the (*) so the image will show.
You will first need to capture the image you want and save it as a jpg file. You can use the free trial of Capturewiz pro from http://pixelmetrics.com or you can do a google search for a free program which allows you to do screen capture. Next go to http://imageshack.us and upload the image you saved to this site. (1) Check the upload from file option then search your HDD for the pic you wanted and up;oad it. (2) Under resize imageYou will need be given the option of choosing the size you want. I would suggest that you make it small(less than 320x280) so that it conforms to AD specs and is also easy to load especially for people using dial-up. Be sure to check the 'remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail' option otherwise your pic will have a black bar with your image specs. (3)Click host it (4) When the image is shown you can right click on it and select copy image location. Here's an example of what it should look like: http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/9783/sunset5kg.th.jpg (5) Now come to AfterDawn.com and go to your "My account" (6) Click on the "Edit your personal account"link (7)Under "signature" type [*img]http://www.theurl.com/picture.jpg [*/img] without the asterisk(*) It is very important that you get these tags right. So once you type[bold][*img].......[*/img][/bold] you can paste the url for your pic that you copied between these tags. There should be no space so it should look like this: [*img]http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/9783/sunset5kg.th.jpg[*/img] Note that I have included an asterisk at the beginning and at the end. You are [bold]NOT[/bold] to include them when you are posting your pic . I had to include them so that you would see text instead of a picture (8)Click SAVE and you're done. @ Creaky & Gear79 Don't feel slighted that I posted after you.
