Ok i recently bought a Onkyo TX-SR805 and I'm trying to hook it up between my PS3 and JBL 5.1 Balboa Series set of speakers and a 42" Sony Bravia.

Now I'm trying to connect them using HDMI. I've ran a HDMI from the TV to the Amp and from the AMP to the PS3. The problem I'm having is im getting no sound whatsoever. I've wired all the speakers with 16AWG speaker wire and double checked all my connections. I Have no idea what is wrong with it and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I can't even seem to get the Bravia builtin Speakers to work =( I jus want to be able to Turn on the Home Theater when i watch movies or play CoD or sumfin and jus have the Bravia builtin speakers working by themselves when watching Normal TV. =(

Like i said; Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^.^

    I also have the 805. I don't have a ps3 though.
You may have to go into the receiver's setup menus, and assign the audio to the HDMI cable. Also, make sure the ps3 is set to send video & audio over HDMI. I think I read to set ps3 to "Bitstream" the audio out (to a receiver that decodes, and the 805 does), for the HD audio of BD movies. Can't swear to it though. Double check the manual.
