I can only try to help, but if you tried already 3-5,read first- WHAT "CAN NOT UNDO RESTRICTION" & "NOT ALLOWED" MEANS When you have seen the message (Can Not Undo Restriction) or (Not Allowed), it means one of the following: 1.) You entered 5 or more wrong codes into your phone. Some models only allow 3 chances. 2.) The phone was bought off Ebay and the seller did the same as above. This may be why they sold it. 3.) You have browsed around looking at other peoples phones and assumed the code that worked for their model, would also work on yours. All IMEI numbers are different, which means every code for different phones will be different. 4.) You kept entering the same code over and over when seeing "code error" the first time. You should only enter a code ONCE!! YOU ONLY GET 3 TO 5 CHANCES TO ENTER THE CORRECT CODE This also applies to 6101's and 6102's that show (phone restrictions on) This means that your phone is hardlocked to the original provider and it will only work with the original provider. The only way to unlock your mobile is to take / send it to a professional unlocker or a shop that offers a direct unlocking service. #pw+295 275 315 337 050+7# If locked to-Rogers. If not work, read once more abowe. And you can try- http://www.unlocknokia.us/index.php and ask about it(send to prof unlocker).
My cel is not off Ebay or any secondary site. It actually is a replacement phone (er- brand new) from Nokia for my old one of this same brand that Nolia messed up fixing, actually sent back with the wrong parts and couldn't fix that problem. So this phone has never been used by anyone, and was set to Rogers by Nokia.... as they always do. My last cel phone from them was set the same way, and was unlockable as well. I have already replaced this model of phone with one I bought from Rogers as it took toooooo long to get the replacement, so I am trying to sell this to try to recover some costs. I am truly trying not to attempt to spend $30+ dollars at some techy place to see if they can do this, as I am on disability.... and can not afford it. I only tried '2' codes so far in this phone. No more, as I know that you only have so many ties on this. The first code being one that was for the same model of phone as this one, and it came back the same answer - "code error". No other person has had the chance to do this to my phone, or has wanted to. So I know for a fact that this has not been done to this phone before, it has always been in my possesion. The phone did not come back saying :"CAN NOT UNDO RESTRICTION" & "NOT ALLOWED" - it came back saying : "Code Error." I am now reluctant to even try this again. As you make it sound like you don't have any confidence in me, or trust what I am saying. Not everryone is trying to scam people, or lies about what they are doing with their electronics. As I have said before...... Thank you for your help.
hey try not to be mean dude..we're all trying to help you and we're all in it for the same cause... u owe MCCRASH an apology, he's been here long before a lot of us and will be here after a lot of us go also.. ppl just come here and ask for their phone to be unlocked and we help them.....with success and we never hear from them again. i've made a lot of postings asking ppl to reply if their codes are successful but they dont...they think they got what they came for and they're gone and our service is free..remember that... any way i am STILL going to help you here's what you do. take your mobile phone to your provider and request that they unlock it becuase it is YOUR phone u DID pay full price for it and u ARE ENTITLED to use it in any manner or network u choose.. and they cant charge you becuse they are just removing a restriction they placed on your phone in the first place... locking mobile phones is immoral in my view becuase u did pay full price for it and it belongs to u...u got a receipt for the phone didnt you? go to your mobile provider and make the request... and apologize to MCCRASH....
Skylinegt, I thank you for your help. I am guessing that I will have to fork out the mulla and take it to someone, or take it to my provider and get them to unlock it. I agree with you in the fact that it is immoral for them to lock the phones to just "their" companies, and making it next to impossible for anyone to take their phone anywhere else. It should fall under the CRTC rules of conduct, if you ask me. But that is a whole other basket of eggs. I am not the type of person to just get what they want then just leave a site never to return again. I had planned on telling whom ever the result of my actions on this phone, so anyone else could benefit from it. As I do know this is a free site, and everyone here is out to help all.... including lil ol' me > who is not a dude but a dude'et. I do believe in helping your fellow mankind, anyway you can, even if there is no personal gain but just a smile on your face to know you helped someone. That is just me. As for McCrash - he did an enormous amount of assuming about me and my phone. And non of it included me actually having owned my phone out-right legally, or having gone about this proccess without a good head on my shoulders (in otherwords: buying my phone from some second hand site, and putting in a bunch of codes several times that I didn't know if they would work with my phone). I realize he has been here a while, but it doen't give him the right to treat me in that way just because he might think he knows better or more than I may. I will however.... Appologise to all who had to read how peeved I was, and had to read what I typed. Not a good thing for anyone to read in an open forum, and it should have been in private. Thank you Skylinegt I will keep you informed of what happens with my cel phone. And if I can get the code for it, I will pass it on to all of you.
Whats problem? Read this- http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/405992 #pw+295 275 315 337 050+7# If locked to-Rogers. See my post above with this code.

Well I hate to say this, but that code gave a "code error" as well. Oh well. Too bad so sad. I will have to take it somewhere by the look at it, and soon. Another I hate to say, if anyone hasn't been watching the news....they are trying to, or going to pass a bill in the house today or tomorrow about unlocking the cell phones pluss dowloading things from the net to ipods and what nots. Tis all going to be illegal, if the goverment has their way. So the whole imoral part of what the cel companies do to us by holding our cel's hostage is out the window. Wish everyone luck.
