Hi, I need help with a bin file, I have some bin files of a movie and want to do 2 things, I want to burn them to vcd so I can wath this movie on tv, also I want to save it so I can watch it on the pc. Totally new to all this, all help recieved gratefully.
first of all - do you have some Cue's with those bin files? (Cue files are about 2-20kb, very small indeed) and secondly do you want to save them as mpeg files so you can watch them with showtime/windows media player, etc Dean Ps, this is kinda the wrong place mate - you can ask in VCD/SVCD and you might get more help in there _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Hey This Site Rocks[/small]
To be honest its still downloading, I dint have any cue files yet, they are all bin files. There are quite a few. I do want to be able to watch it with media player ect. Oh, I only put this thread here coz there was a sticky about bin files, a bit confusing for me _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Why did you kick my dog and call him f**k off when you know his name is Rover[/small]
lol, thats fine - your new around here hopefully when it finishes downloading you will get a bin and a cue (or you should have as many bins as you have cue's) are they seperate things to watch? or one whole thing split? to watch them with windows media player its very simple - goto www.elby.ch and download there virtual drive - install that - then when you have your bin files you can right click select open, then when it says what do you want to do select play media files... and there you go ;D Dean
Thanks for your help, It is one movie, split into loads of little .rar files. Thay are called pot."movie"2b. So far they are all cd2.bins. Will they like "glue" themselves together to make the movie when the whole lot has downloaded.???
when you get them all right click on the very first one and select extract to wherever - and it will extract the bin an cue to wherever u tell it to (its a spanned archive) then you can just do what i said to play it on your comp or go into nero and select recorder at the top the click on burn image load up the cue file and it will burn the bin file to a CD (yes the bin file will probably be about 750meg, but it will fit) and there you go ;D Dean
