I have a sony 8mm camcorder that just bit the dust. And I just purchased ProDirector to start transfering all my 8mm tapes to dvd productions! does anyone know if there is a device out there that will directly plug into my hp pc and still give me the same quality for editing? Thanks in advance and in reading all these posts I think I am in the best place for great advice!
Are you saying that your Camcorder is Busted so it won"t play back Tapes so you can"t transfer them to your PC and you are asking if there is some other the Device you can use to Play back the Tapes so you can Transfer them to your PC?? I believe you are Going to Need at least another Hi8 Camcorder or a Hi8 Playback deck....You are also going to have to have some sort of capture device Installed in your PC so you can Transfer the Video to your PC.... Maybe if you Clarified your Question you will get more Help.... CHeers
