help! my burned dvd freezes every 30 to 20 min ?

    ok i have been burning dvds for like 1 month and all was fine but now i burn a dvd and it freezes for like 1 sec ever 30 min during the entire dvd i have tried it on my pc however and it runs fine,,
    so i tried it at my friends dvd player and it still does that
    ..it just started doing that and i have used the same media in the same package also///...
    what does anyone think!!!?
    where am i going wrong ?

    What media are you using (brand and format) and media code would help and what speed are you burning at?

    i am using imation dvd burning at max speed but have burned at lowest and stilli see the tiny gliches this has just started but do u think its the media ?
    i mean i bought a 100 pack on i am half way through and it started to do this
    whats ur best guess?

    My guess is that if it is important to you than you will end up reburning all those disks. I guess you can gift them also to someone you don't like much. But seriously, read through the forums and go get some good stuff.

    I'm with creaky. Imation falls into the same catagory as memorex and princo, total garbage. You might get by on some by burning at 2 or 2.4x but longivity will still more than likely not be good. Try some verbatim, taiyo yuden, sony, or maxell media and keep burn speed to 4x. Verbatim's are mostly made in taiwan but look for sony and maxell's made in japan. Sony's are usually good media regardless of where they are made but the chances are better if made in japan.
