!!!Help my ear-jack is broken!!!

    Help me my ear phone plug is broken. The thing u plug in ur ear phones is broken I opened my (rave mp)/mp3 player and I tryed to salder the ear jack but it keeps making a ssshhhuuuushu sound lol. help me to fix it somehow!!! THANX :)

    Hi there,

    Have you tried a different pair of earphones? If you have a broken wire then that would cause the crackling/hissing...

    Other than that, is it still under warranty? I know you've taken it apart, but if you take it back to the place you got it from, then they should replace it...not that I've ever done that before... :)

    Ohhh sweet I can do that. But ya its not the ear phones its te actual jack on the mp3. THNX
