Help- Need advice on Raid setup

    Hey guys. I am planning to run a RAID on my rig. I currently have a Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB as my main hard drive. I haven't done a RAID setup before and in my research I have come across the RAID version of my hard drive. Is it really necessary for it to be RAID version? Can't I run another just the same? My mobo is the EX38-DS4. Please help me find a solution.
