The hell are you talking about? The guy is asking why his Wifi dongle won't work on his friends computer...
You reply with Walmart and bikinis? I fail to see a connection, elaborate.

I'd give an answer if I knew one, right now I'm just full of hate towards the above poster.

about the wifi adapter, i do not know much about it because i do not own one. i would but i dont really want to spend 25 dollars =P. but for the flashcart, theres some on dealextreme.com (free shipping! and also the r4's prices have dropped a little). there are other flashcards that aren't on dealextreme like g6(which has built in memory unlike the micro-sd m3 and r4 cards take.). all i can say is that if you dont want m3,r4,EZ flash V, then google it to find it.

and the guy who posted first to respond is a jackas* for trying to be funny and changing the quote. couldn't even understand a word he was saying until after a while.

I don't think stores can legally have them, maybe a pawnshop or something.

So have you solved the wifi problem?

It sounds like the drivers for the usb dongle are missing, or failing to install properly..

When you plug it in does a bubble pop up and say "new hardware detected"

You may have to check in device manager for the details of the dongle, and then have a hunt on google for the drivers. The best thing after you have the driver is to remove the entry in device manager..plug the dongle in again and when it wants a driver point it at the downloaded file..

After a quick mess with the device connectivity settings.. control panel.. network settings.. it should connect immediately, though you may need to tell the main internet connection that you want to share it.

    Really?

WalMart carries this, wouldn't think it a whole lot different.

my cousin got that, and he says its terrible. like maybe he didnt patch it or something, but he couldnt get most games working. i admit i dont have it so i cant really say anything about it, but lets just say its better to get an r4 or something. my cousin ended up getting an r4 after a few weeks trying to get it to work.

but i dont think you can play nds roms on this. it comes with some games, and its only for multimedia purposes. i recommend NOT getting games n' music though.

That disgrace of an accessory isn't made to play official games, just homebrew and media files.
I don't think there is a way to run ROMs on it at all.

Tell me how you really feel. Don't be shy! I just saw the thing.

I agree it doesn't look all that impressive, but the point I was trying to make is that I'm not sure there's a big difference between Wal-Mart carrying that cart with flash memory inserts and an R4. If the R4 had a slick department store style package and met Wal-Mart's price point, I bet they would carry it if they thought they could make a buck.

Maybe I'm talking out of my hat, however.

i think the reason why the games n' music was able to be sold in stores was because it does not play rom games that are downloadable online. it just plays homebrew and multimedia. i wouldnt really consider it to be a counter-part or even in the same level as an r4 or m3.

so basically, a flashcart would not be sold in stores. the only way you can get it without likely having to go online or pay shipping is from a friend.

even if it was on ebay i think deal extreme would be cheaper and safer. i've used dealextreme.com and so did a lot of other people who have r4/m3. its reliable and probably the best bet to get it from there since its cheap.
